An electronic painting of the Miles Davis recording "So What" for the television program "The Sound of Miles Davis" produced by Robert Herridge on April 2, 1959 in Studio 61 and broadcast on July 21, 1960. Accompanying Davis is John Coltrane on saxophone, Paul Chambers on bass, Wynton Kelly on piano and Jimmy Cobb on drums; Cannonball Adderley had to cancel due to an illness.
