A plutonium implosion-type atomic bomb (Fat Man) is dropped from the B-29 Bockscar on the city of Nagasaki on August 9, 1945 killing an estimated 39,000–80,000 people. Assembled from approximately 50 manipulated stills from U.S. Airforce footage with additional electronic painting.
